Barry Lanham's ability to interact in a variety of instructional venues is a key reason why his approach to dance is so special.

From professional shows, outreach programs and school settings, to master classes, no one is more devoted to preserving the heritage of Appalachian dance than this much-respected and admired professional.

Beginner

Learn the basic steps of traditional Appalachian clogging with emphasis on rhythm and dancing to the music.

Kick in with energy! Participants will build a repertoire of steps that include some groundwork at improvisation. Speed and flair are two of the components that best characterize this class.

High Intermediate/Challenge

For experienced dancers with a desire to learn more advanced steps and movements. Routines are taught at a faster clip. Emphasis is placed on buck, Irish and Canadian steps.
